Demo Import Guide

Demo Import Guide

If you want to replicate the demo site before you start editing and adding your own content then these are the steps you need to follow:

1. Install & activate the theme - see the guide in the "Getting Started" section.

2. Install and activate all plugins you see in the notification box after theme activation.

3. Navigate to Appearance ยป Import Demo Data and click on the Demo + Blocks + Elementor Templates. In the window that opens click "Yes, import" button and wait for the import to finish.

Depending on the hosting import time may vary between a couple of seconds and a couple of minutes.

***If you experience difficulties with the import make sure to check PHP settings on your hosting. Recommended settings are:

  • PHP version: PHP 7 or higher
  • PHP memory limit: 128MB or higher

With some hosting providers it is possible to adjust these settings directly from the hosting dashboard. If that's not the case with your hosting then simply contact hosting support and they will adjust it for you.

The Next Steps

Create Contact Form

On the Contact page that got imported with the demo you'll want to display your contact form. The dedicated plugin that we used on the demo website is WPForms Lite. If you installed recommended plugins as advised above then WPForms Lite is already installed. To create a contact form head to WPForms>>Add New and select "Simple Contact Form. In the window that opens you'll be able to adjust the appearance of your form.

Once you created a form go to the "Contact" page, click on the grayed out block, where your form should be displayed, and then from the "Form" drop-down in the "Blocks" tab in the right sidebar select the form.

Now that you have demo content imported and set up you can start editing and adding your own content. There are, of course, many different ways you can start doing this, however, the most common is to start with the Homepage. To get a better overview of how the Homepage is structured in this theme I recommend to check the Homepage section of the documentation.

After setting up your homepage we recommend following the documentation in this order: Blog Page>>Header & Menu>>Inner Pages>>Body & Footer>>Customizer
