Contact Page

To add a contact form you first need a plugin that offers this functionality. In the demo we used a free plugin WPForms Lite: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpforms-lite/

If you installed the recommended plugins then you already have this plugin installed.

First you need go to the WPForms ยป Add New and create a new contact form.

Once you have one form created navigate to Pages, create a new page and name it, for example "Contact".

Now in the editor of your Contact Page click on the "+" icon to add a new block. Then go to the Reusable and add Contact Template. This will import custom blocks we used for creating demo Contact Page. Now click on the 3 dots and choose Convert to Regular Block. From here you can edit blocks, change photos, text, links etc.

To display the contact form you created, click on the block where the form is added (grayed out area), and in the "Block" tab, in the right sidebar, select the form from the "Form" drop-down menu.

Of course, you can add a contact form to any other page on your website by simply clicking on the "+" icon to add a new block and selecting WPForms widget to display in that block.

If you upload a featured image to your contact page it will be displayed at the top of the page.

Other Contact Plugins

If you use any other contact form plugin like Contact Form 7, which we can also recommend, then click the "+" icon to add a block, go to "Widgets" and add "Shortcode" widget. In this widget you can add a shortcode of the Contact Form 7 form you want to display.

Additional Pages

Besides standard pages, Elephant theme supports a couple of pages that bring additional features to your website. These pages are:

  • Give Donations Page
  • WooCommerce Shop Page
  • Elementor pages

These pages are directly related to the 3rd party plugins we recommend as additional features in our theme. If you're interested in adding some of these features to your website navigate to Additional Features page and check the guides there.
