  1. Hi! I really love this theme and am a first time web site builder so I’m going slow but loving it. This may be a silly question, but I do not like the font – how can I change it, if I can change it, that is! Thank you for any help or direction where I can read up on it myself.
    Stay safe.

    1. Hi Beth,

I’m glad to hear you like the theme. You can change the font by using a free plugin called Fonts Plugin.

Simply install the plugin and it will appear as an option in the customizer.

      Hope this helps.

      Marko

  2. Hi Marko,

Yesterday I tried the “read more” function within the article section. This block works kind of twice. Everything above this block will be doubled.

For example: if my article contains “blabla” and I put this “read more/continue reading” block, the result is:

    Blabla
    ——Continue reading——
    Blabla
    ——Continue reading——

I tried this before and after pictures and the results stay “doubled.”
Is there a way to fix this (maybe via css snippet)?

Thanks again for your fast and great support!

    Best, Christiane

    1. Hi Christiane,

that shouldn’t be happening, at least not because of the theme.
I’d suggest checking your plugins for conflict. Temporarily deactivate all plugins and check if that fixes the issue.
If it does, then activate plugins again one by one until you find the one that’s causing it.

      Hope this helps.

      Best,
      Marko

      1. Hi Marko,

thanks for this tip! In the end the deactivation of my current plugins did not work. But in my despair I just copy-pasted everything (still with deactivated plugins though) and now everything’s as pretty as it should be. Thank you!

  3. Hi,

I must say, I do love this theme. Thanks for sharing it! I’ve started a new blog and wondered, how I can remove the “published by” section under a post since I am the only one posting there. Google did not help properly. Thank you!

    Best regards, Christiane

    1. Hi Christiane,

I’m glad to hear you love the theme. You can hide the author info box by adding this line of code to the Additional CSS box in the customizer:

      .author-title, .author-info{
      display:none;
      }

      Hope that helps.

      Best,
      Marko

      1. Hi Marko,

thanks, that works! I tried it with “author” and “author-bio” before, but I certrainly like yours more.

        Best, Christiane

  4. I do not know whether it’s just me or if perhaps everybody else encountering issues with your website.
It appears like some of the text on your content are
running off the screen. Can someone else please provide feedback and let
me know if this is happening to them too? This could be a
problem with my internet browser because I’ve had this happen previously.
    Thank you

    1. Hi,

I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I don’t see any content running of the screen. Can you please clarify a bit?
Try clearing your browser cache or try in another browser.

      Best,
      Marko

  5. Hi there,
I am using your theme and think it is fantastic-huge thank you!

Is there a way to change the lines above the nav bar to a different color and make them more transparent?

Also, is there a way to highlight the current page the user is on in the nav bar? I have tried multiple css edits but cannot seem to get it correctly.

    Thanks!
    Kerrie

  6. Hi,

here you can temporarily download the theme https://www.dropbox.com/s/zjdq9nquhdfgq6x/didi-lite.zip?dl=0 .

Can you please test it and tell me if it works on your server now?
    Thanks!

    Best,
    Marko

  7. I see where the misunderstanding was. I’ve checked the demo on our site and there the menu works normally. On WordPress.org as you said it doesn’t work.

I also installed the theme on our test site directly from the repository and there was no issue with the menu.

In any case tomorrow we’ll check this in more detail and I’ll get back to you as soon as we find the cause.

    Best,
    Marko

  8. When clicking the menu icon, the doesn’t get the “toggle” class added, etc. I think because jQuery is missing.
You don’t even need to check on your phone. Making your browser smaller will give the same behavior.

  9. Hi,

I checked the Didi Lite demo now on my android phone and on iPhone 6s and the mobile menu works normally here. Please try clearing the cache or try in another browser. Let me know how that goes.

    Best,
    Marko

    1. I checked it again and see that it’s the theme on wordpress.org that has the mobile menu trouble: https://wp-themes.com/didi-lite/
The demo on https://www.anarieldesign.com/themedemos/didilite/ works fine. But after the installation of the theme it isn’t.

  10. Hi, just downloaded this theme, it’s beautiful. However, the menu doesn’t seem to work on iPhone 5. Did I do something wrong?

    1. Hi Alice,

I’m glad you like the theme.

Can you please describe in what way it doesn’t work? Does the menu in the demo site works on your iPhone 5 https://www.anarieldesign.com/themedemos/didilite/ ?

      Best,
      Marko

      1. Hi Marko,
It doesn’t work on the demo either. I looked into it and it seems that jQuery isn’t integrated in the lite version. I’ve added it with the WP plugin jQuery Updater and now the menu is working fine for mobile devices. Maybe you could do an update, so this great theme will become perfect?

  11. Hi there Ana,

I am hoping to use your nice and simplistic theme Didi Lite for my new website, but only if you can tell me there is a way to reduce the size of your footer link? It seems pretty big and makes my site look a little unprofessional.

If you can help out with this one, that would be very much appreciated!

    Regards,

    Colin

  12. Hi Tatiana,

unfortunately lite version of the theme doesn’t include sidebar on the blog page, just on the single blog post. Premium version has more option and also includes blog layouts with sidebar.

    Hope this helps.

    All the best,
    Ana

  13. This theme is fantastic, I am using in my literature website. I hope not to bother with my question, but is there any way to make blog page with sidebar? I’ve tried with WordPress options but failed to configure it – so, not sure of the possibility. Thank you for your hard work making and sharing free themes.
