Theme Demo Example

Here we'll describe how we set up all 5 panels in the demo front page example: Liber Front Page. Lets start ;).

A. Panel 1

To show the three column block you first need to navigate to the Pages, create a new page and leave it empty (we named it "Smoothie Taste"). Next step is to open 3 different child pages (Kiwi Smoothie, Papaya Smoothie, Peach Smoothie).

Inside the editor of each child page add the content you want to show.

Inside the Page Attributes of each child page choose "Parent: Smoothie Taste" or the name of the page you created above.

Once you are done with editing, navigate to Appearance » Customize » Front Page Content/Settings and inside the "Panel Content 1" choose the page you created and it will show up on the front page.

 

B. Panel 2

Navigate to Pages, create a new page (we named it "Special Offers") and upload the featured image.

Once you are done, navigate to Appearance » Customize » Front Page Content/Settings. Inside the "Panel Content 2" from the drop-down choose the page you created and in Fetured Image Options section choose "Half Width Featured Image"

Now enable Food Menu and enter the number and the category of posts you want to display.

Make sure you have some posts created in the "Food Menus" section in your WP dashboard.

 

C. Panel 3

Navigate to Pages and create a new page and leave it empty (we named it "Latest News").

Navigate to Appearance » Customize » Front Page Content/Settings. Inside the "Panel Content 3" from the drop-down select the page you created and add the tagline.

Once you are done enable recent posts, enter the number,category & choose the style.

 

D. Panel 4

Navigate to Pages and create a new page (we named it "Liber Gift Cards"). Add your content inside the page editor and upload your featured image.

Navigate to Appearance » Customizer » Front Page Content/Settings. Inside the "Panel Content 4" from the drop-down select the page you created and it will show up in this panel.

Then add your tagline, select "Featured Image as Page Background" from "Featured Image Options" and "Boxed Style" from the "Panel Content Style".

 

E. Panel 5

Navigate to Pages, create a new page and leave it empty (we named it "Testimonials").

Navigate to Appearance » Customizer » Front Page Content/Settings and inside the "Panel Content 5" from the drop-down select the page you created.

Once you are done enable testimonials and enter the number.

Make sure you have added some testimonial posts in "Testimonial" section in your WP dashboard.
